**Description**

**Wastewater Project Engineer**

POWER Engineers Environmental Division provides wastewater consulting and engineering, planning, permitting, site assessment, and corrective action services to clients nationwide. Across multiple industries, our diverse staff specializes in the areas of process wastewater, air, waste, ecological and cultural resources throughout our 45 offices across the country. **This position reports to our Cincinnati office with the ability to work remotely from a mutually acceptable location.**

Power Engineers is currently seeking an experienced, highly motivated Wastewater Project Engineer for full-time employment in support of our Civil & Environmental Engineering Department. The selected candidate would join a team of more than 230 environmental professionals across the U.S.

**Roles and Responsibilities:**

In this role, you will work within our Civil & Environmental Engineering Department, supporting internal engineering teams as well as outside customers. The selected candidate(s) will provide practical and technical consulting and engineering design to satisfy technological and regulatory-compliant solutions for our customers specific needs. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of treatment processes, equipment capabilities, and proven experience in wastewater evaluations including biological and chemical/physical treatment, system design, and working directly with customers and equipment suppliers/manufacturers.

**Required Education/Experience**

+ BS Civil, Environmental, or closely related discipline
+ 4+ years providing manufacturing wastewater consulting and engineering on industrial water/wastewater projects
+ Registered Professional Engineer or Engineer In Training with the ability to obtain PE licensing within 6 months of employment
+ Excellent writing and communication skills are required with proven customer interactions
+ Ability to travel when required
+ Biological and chemical/physical wastewater treatment experience
+ Discharge Permitting experience
