Summary


Arhaus is looking for proactive Freelance Movers to join our growing department as we expand our eCommerce and campaign photography initiatives. This position plays an integral role in unwrapping, prepping, moving and rewrapping product as well as assisting with building sets for both eCommerce and campaign photography shoots.


Core Job Functions


  • Prep merchandise to be photographed, including unpacking, assembling, organizing, tagging and staging product and packaging in designated staging areas

  • Work with Merchandise Coordinator to prioritize workflow of items coming into the studio workspace and items going out of the studio

  • Move product on and off set for photo teams

  • Preparing merchandise post-photography to go back into inventory including disassemble, wrap, re-package and label product with efficiency and accuracy

  • Participate in studio projects as needed; painting, building, organizing, and moving photo studio set assets

  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds

  • Ability to maintain an efficient and organized workflow in a busy, fast paced collaborative environment

  • Maintain an orderly and clean work environment

  • Drive box trucks and moving van as needed for product drop-offs and pick-ups to location shoots or to support other company initiatives

  • Organize products, props, and other items for photo shoots, as needed

  • Address quality and packaging issues with Merchandise Coordinator

  • Assist with keeping the studio and photo storage areas neat and organized

  • Collaborate with inventory coordinator and production teams to ensure product will arrive and is unpacked in a timely manner

  • Be a team player willing to do what it takes to get the job done

  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Basic carpentry skills a plus

  • Demonstrates initiative by acting as a self-starter; takes on increased responsibility to enhance ones contribution

  • Displays a high degree of integrity, honesty and takes responsibility for ones own actions; shows consistency between words and actions

  • Valid Drivers license

  • Willingness to work additional hours during photo shoots if necessary

  • Education: High school diploma; College degree preferred

  • 1+ year experience working on photo/video sets a plus
