**Regulatory and Relationship Support Analyst - Maternity Cover (Fixed - term)**


This role combines activities for both Relationship and Regulatory functions. It supports the Network Managers in managing the relationship with the agent bank network providing clearing, settlement, custody, cash and credit services for the ICG and non-ICG around the world. In the Regulatory capacity the focus is on the ongoing monitoring of the Bank Sub-Custodian and Client Money relationships, ensuring there are controls and procedures in place to deliver Regulatory Compliance to Global Client Protection rules.


**Responsibilities:**


+ Ongoing monitoring of Bank Sub-Custodian relationships and Client Money relationships

+ Coordination and control activities to ensure compliance

+ Assist with Due Diligence review for Bank Sub-custodians, Client Money Banks and Carry Brokers

+ Response for both Internal and External Audit exams

+ Coordination with many areas of the Firm is required (CASS Office, Compliance, Risk and Control, Business Managers, Operations, Legal etc.)

+ Oversight of Regulatory documentations (Regulatory letters, Custody agreements, Bank Terms & Conditions etc.)

+ Carry out all standard account openings and closings as per the markets requirement

+ Maintain the central record of cash and security accounts that are open throughout the agent network

+ Maintain agent bank details on ABACUS-WFT and ensure this is kept up to date

+ Ensure that account structure and documentation meet Regulatory requirements

+ Maintain legal documentation, fee schedules, authorized signatory documents

+ Act as escalation point for operational issues

+ Monitor agent bank service levels

+ Involvement in high profile Projects relating to Risk Management, Data Integrity and Process Management

+ Under limited direction, provide ad-hoc administrative support to the Budapest BNM Functional Head

+ Assists in ad-hoc reports, special projects and perform internal team assignments as needed to ensure smooth service delivery


**The ideal candidate for this position preferably possesses the following qualifications and skills:**


+ 2-3 years of experience in the international securities industry (eg. in Regulatory/Control, Network Management, Bank relations, Securities/Custody Operations, Custody/Clearance Sales or Relationship Management)

+ AIFMD, SEC and CFTC, basic knowledge of the FCA CASS rules would be a plus

+ General understanding of the securities settlement process & custody operations, cash management/services, foreign exchange, payments and derivatives, futures

+ Experience with managing relationships, documentation & the corresponding regulatory obligations would be an advantage

+ A working knowledge of SWIFT (admin, system, & industry initiatives) is a plus

+ Motivated, able to work independently and to prioritize, good analytical, communication skills

+ Experience working within a large global matrix organization structure
