Crescent Bank is looking for aStaff Accountant. This position will apply the principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:










Analyzes financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital.

Reviews, investigates, and communicates errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports to the Controller.

Determines proper handling and recording of financial transactions.

Prepares and reviews general ledger and bank reconciliations and checks for accuracy and stale dated items.

Participate in audits by internal, external, and regulatory agencies as needed.

Backup for daily settlement of cash accounts.

Responsible for upload of daily ATE files into Horizon.

Assists in assembling monthly and quarterly journal entry and reconciliation binders; responsible for uploading financial binders to online scan database.


Assist Accounts Payable as a backup when needed

Perform related duties and special projects as assigned.



Position Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
