Position Summary:

UAB Department of Neurology seeks to hire a Clinical Program Manager II to manage the administrative and financial affairs of the Division of Neuropsychology and McKnight Brain Institute led by Neuropsychology Division Director Dr. Ron Lazar. 

The position will act as the primary administrator for the division's clinical and research activities, budgeting, community outreach initiatives, and inter-departmental/inter-institutional collaborations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative and financial operational management for clinical and research activities within the Division of Neuropsychology and McKnight Brain Institute.
  • Acts as division representative for Neuropsychology operations with departmental business office/central department administration.
  • Administrative support for Neuropsychology clinic, including provider schedule changes and patient scheduling/preauthorization as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Salary Range: $51,270 - $83,300



Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field and five (5) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ideal candidate will have experience with administrative and financial management.
