Job CRITERIA

Job Summary

Responsibilities:

We are currently looking to hire a meticulous senior level Project Cost Accountant with construction experience.

Responsibilities

  • Supports multiple projects/project teams in the areas of: Job Projections (preparation and process), Narratives, and Project Risk Management.
  • Delivers commentary of costs against budget and latest forecast including the monthly review of income and sales trend reports for accuracy.
  • Analyzes cost data, monthly forecasts, annual budgeting and variance analysis for multiple projects/project teams.
  • The role will also perform the day-to-day activities and analysis that support the financial close and reporting process related to job costing.
  • Performs other miscellaneous projects as assigned.
Qualifications:

Cost Accountant requirements:

  • A Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • able to work with Project Managers on cost projections
  • 4+ years of construction accounting experience
  • Experience in a heavy/civil construction environment is a plus
  • Familiarity with multiple software including CMIC & Microsoft Office
