**MID-LEVEL GENERATION ELECTRICAL ENGINEER**

**Job Summary of Roles and Responsibilities:**

POWER Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level Generation Electrical Engineer to work in our Generation Electrical Department. Openings are available for the Atlanta, GA; Boise, ID; Overland Park, KS and Oradell, NJ offices.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

+ Lead and support electrical engineer on design of power generation projects
+ Lead and support electrical engineer on design of renewable energy projects
+ Lead and support electrical engineer on switchyard electrical system upgrades.
+ Lead and support electrical engineer on facilities and federal electrical system upgrades.
+ Mentor and teach junior engineers
+ Project proposal and budget development

**Required Education/Experience:**

+ Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
+ PE License
+ 6-8+ years of detailed electrical engineering design experience (including calculations, equipment specifications, etc.)
+ 5+ years of relay coordination and schematic design

**Desired Education/Experience:**

+ Master of Science or MBA
+ Previous experience leading a group of engineers is a plus
+ 5+ years of detailed design engineering experience in generating facilities and/or substations is a plus
+ 5+ years of owners engineering experience in generating facilities and/or substations is a plus
