Title of Position
Nursing Home Administrator
Regular Part-Time (Req#2022-495). Primarily Monday to Friday, day shift. 24 hours a week. May be required to work beyond regularly scheduled hours as needed.
Kuakini Geriatric Care, Inc.
Responsiblefor the management of the skilled nursing facility, intermediate care facility,residential care home, and adult day programs. Nursing Home Administrator isresponsible for the planning, organizing, staffing, directing and controllingthe programs and services of the Geriatric Care Services. Ensures thedevelopment and provision of services in accordance with established policies,and applicable standards and regulations.
Bachelor’s Degree in HealthCare Administration, Social Work, Nursing or related health care fieldrequired. Master’s degree in Health CareAdministration or related health care field or business administration ispreferred. Must have a current HawaiiState license as Nursing Home Administrator (NHA). Must have a minimum of three (3) years workexperience as an administrator in a long term care facility; or must have acombination of education and work experience, preferably in management, thatwould provide thenecessary knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job duties andresponsibilities of this position.
