This job profile is for the SCDE summer intern position for Creative and Digital Solutions

The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia is one of the 12 regional Reserve Banks that, together with the Board of Governors in Washington, D.C., make up the Federal Reserve System. It helps formulate and implement monetary policy, supervises banks and bank and savings and loan holding companies, and provides financial services to depository institutions and the federal government. The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia serves eastern and central Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, and Delaware.

The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia is seeking a senior or recent college graduate student for a summer internship (approximately 10 weeks) in the Strategic Communications and Digital Engagement department. Students majoring in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS or similar discipline will be considered.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • UI/UX Design skills
  • Adobe Creative Suite and UI/UX tools like Figma and Adobe XD
  • Knowledge of component libraries
  • Responsive Design
  • Knowledge of HTML5 & CSS3
  • Knowledge of JavaScript & JavaScript Frameworks (React, Angular, Vue)
  • Excellent in problem solving/analysis skills
  • Excellent written or oral communication skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Flexible and able to effectively plan and manage ones own time to work on multiple projects
