**Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Cost Accountant/ Cost Accountant** . This position will be located at our Space Systems Sector in **Bacchus, UT or Promontory, UT.**

**Roles and Responsibilities:**

Allocates costs, collects data, and prepares reports that maintain the company's cost accounting system. Ensures that costs are allocated according to established procedures. Gathers historical cost data on such activities as material purchases, labor, equipment depreciation, repairs, assembly, operating expenses, etc. Investigates cost structures for new and existing areas of the company. Prices new services or products by developing unit costs and projecting expenses. Prepares reports that compare budgets with actual expenses. May prepare existing or projected profitability analyses. May recommend, design, or develop revisions to the cost accounting system.

**Basic Qualifications:**

This requisition may be filled at either a level 1 or a level 2.

Basic qualifications for a level 1 is a Bachelors Degree.

Basic qualifications for a level 2 is a Masters Degree.

A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

+ Be completing or has completed their degree (Bachelors, Masters, or PhD) from an accredited institution
+ Be majoring in or having majored in a business management degree or related field
+ Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile)
+ Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.70/4.0 or higher

**Salary Range:**

+ Level 1: $45,000.00 - $66,400.00
+ Level 2: $53,500.00 - $80,300.00
