Accountable for the administration of accurate accounting and financial control for the plant and various other accounting functions for the division. Position involves the support of plant management, evaluation and development of cost structure, implementation of Power BI reporting, fixed asset management, internal controls support, and various other tasks. Applies knowledge of accounting principles, methods and techniques to perform complex accounting functions and analyses in areas of financial analysis, cost accounting, budgeting, planning, and forecasting.

+ Journal entries preparation for monthly accounting

+ Reconciliation for monthly period closing

+ Works on Internal Controls at the location, compliance with company policies and insuring compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements and documentation.

+ Maintain the integrity of the cost elements that comprise standard costs. Perform standard cost file maintenance and yearly updates.

+ Support the preparation of tax and accounting information for local, state and national requirements.

+ Support the preparation for internal and external audits.

+ Support internal projects related to cost savings / Kaizen events.

+ Analyze monthly reports of deviations and variations in production costs.

+ Monitoring of Waste, Labor and Use of Materials.

+ Supervision and Control of Physical Inventory of RM, WIP and FG.

+ Preparation and control of operation reports necessary for the Administration.

+ Assist in the physical inventory and cycle counting process.

+ Special projects as required.

Qualifications

+ Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance.

+ +2 years of experience in manufacturing environment.

+ Advanced English.

+ Standard Costs knowledge Manufacturing Environment

+ Experience with enterprise systems (e.g., JDE, MSS/V, etc.) and data analysis tools

+ Experience with MS Office tools with advanced level Excel skills

+ Must continuously maintain the highest degree of integrity, customer service, throughput, quality, cost reduction and people productivity.

+ Candidate must be internally motivated with a strong sense of curiosity, wants to learn, and is driven to make improvement
