The Liaison Engineer has the responsibility and authority to perform Material Review Board (MRB) duties and to provide Engineering support to all organizations engaged in the design, development, assembly, test, installation, delivery, maintenance and repair of BA products. In your role, you will: Resolve relevant technical engineering fit, form or functional issues on Aircraft components and for repairs required during the manufacture of the Bombardier Aerospace products. Find technical engineering solutions with the aircraft structure and/or systems that is reported and raise necessary documentation to overcome the problem quickly and efficiently. Repair and/or salvage dispositions with respect to Technical Engineering specifications, concepts and integrity of design, as well as, sign for dispositions on behalf of the Engineering department. Work closely with all specialists within Engineering, such as Design, Stress, Materials Technology, Aerodynamics, Performance and others as required in order to support problem solving and or address any relevant technical engineering problems reported. Support Production, Design Engineering, Procurement & Quality in providing Corrective Action involving Technical Engineering. Interpret engineering drawings and specifications Provide status, updates & keep current on information regarding integrated technical engineering solutions impacting manufacturing changes & problems Qualifications @
